| ICPW
- Intercultural Professional Workshops - was formed
in 2002 as a transatlantic partnership of two experienced intercultural practices
led by Philip O'Connor and Peter Petzal, who share a common commitment and passion
to be competent, caring and ethical practitioners in the intercultural field.
Our intention
as practitioners is to bring together our peers, and those interested to: |
| | |
Explore and promote best
practice in the field of intercultural training, facilitation and coaching
| | | |
Set up and run practical,
focused and affordable educational workshops around the world |
| | |
Contribute towards moving
intercultural training and learning forward
Provide support to fellow
professionals | | | |
Act as a focus group for
debate and improvement in the work of intercultural training for business
| | | |
Look at the possibility
of developing standards for intercultural training
| Aware
also that there is, as yet, no professional organisation or institution similar
to those that exist for lawyers, accountants or consultancy groups, we hope that,
in good time, ICPW can help establish standards within the intercultural field.
We hope to
also set up a membership scheme |
